Tuning a high-end sliding table saw is like working on a race car - there are very subtle adjustments in alignment that can be performed which make the difference between fantastic and lousy performance.

  E.g., a crosscut fence which is off by just a few thousandths of an inch can result in significant error when cutting a piece of stock which is 4' to 8' or more in length. This will not only lead to frustration, during what should otherwise be an enjoyable woodworking experience, but will also waste expensive and precious stock during a project - not to mention your time!

Felder Accessories

The In-Line Micro-Adjuster (for the Felder and Hammer line of sliding table saws) was designed as a low-profile alternative to the Standard Micro-Adjuster. It has all of the micrometric adjustability of its predecessor, but rests fully below surface of the sliding table (self-contained in the T-slot) allowing for several of these units to be precisely adjusted and remain in position without interfering with work pieces or other accessories. Adjustment is performed with a T-handle hex wrench.

The Precision Miter Gauge is based on a custom version of the high quality and extremely accurate miter head manufactured by Woodhaven. The miter head is CNC machined aluminum which is then anodized. It attaches to a sliding table with a custom T-rail and comes complete with a 24" length of FasTTraK dual-purpose track. Many other manufacturer's fences (as well as your own custom fence) can be mounted to this head with the provided Kipp handles making it an extremely versatile, precise, and sturdy addition to any table saw.
